Find out what you can do in your situation. You may be eligible for healthcare benefits

Care allowance is money from the central government to help pay for your health insurance. Are you entitled to care allowance? This depends on, among other things:

  • The income of you and the people you live with
  • Your age

In short, if you are chronically ill or disabled, see if you can get money back from the IRS. 

Find out if you can get special assistance to pay for medical expenses

You can also check with the municipality to see if you are entitled to special assistance. Special assistance is meant for costs that are necessary but that you cannot pay yourself. For example, for certain medical expenses.
